As a Managing Director of Sun Metal Group, Sandeep Shishodia has been at the forefront of recycling for over 25 years, trading in non-ferrous metal scrap and manufacturer of secondary aluminum, zinc, lead, copper and lead oxide. He is one of the founding members of BMR, past treasurer of BMR & member of Arbitration Committee. He has served as a member in several Boards over the last 20 years. He is a seasoned public speaker at various metals association conferences and other events.

Started with trading of non-ferrous metal 25 years back, Sandeep Shishodia setup a secondary aluminum ingots and zinc ingots manufacturing plant within two years with the capacity of 300 tonnes each. Currently, the aluminum plant capacity is 1800 mt.

He established a lead recycling plant in 2011 and lead oxide manufacturing plant in 2016.Sun Metal Group is one of the largest manufacturers of non-ferrous metal in the MENA region. And it has operations in the Middle East, Africa, India, Far East, China and South Korea.
